About the Author
Roger Nygard was born and raised among the lakes and corn fields of Minnesota. After discovering his father’s 8mm camera at age seven, Nygard has been making movies ever since. Nygard has written and directed award-winning films and documentaries including, Trekkies, Six Days in Roswell, Suckers, The Nature of Existence, and his current project, The Truth About Marriage. What Nygard discovered was so provocative and impactful, he wrote a companion book to present his findings along with the documentary. Nygard has also directed episodes of television series such as The Office, The Bernie Mac Show, The Mind of the Married Man, Zeke & Luther and many pilots, as well as having edited series such as The League, Grey’s Anatomy, Crashing, and Emmy-nominated episodes of VEEP, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Who Is America?
