About the Author
Chris Meggs became an Emmy-winning television news producer after graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism. A lifelong fan of KU sports, game day will find him at the stadium or fieldhouse or by a television or radio cheering for his beloved Jayhawks. Chris loves learning about Kansas and it’s history, often taking day trips to explore what the state has to offer. Chris and his wife Julie live in Gardner, Kansas.
Rob Peters has illustrated over 30 picture books of all shapes and sizes including Kansas Jayhawks ABCs and 1-2-3s from Ascend Books. He has a degree in Visual Communications from Judson College. He lives with his wife and family in Topeka, Kansas.
