The miracle is clear and every day a gift. But, more profoundly, Elner learned to use the tools he had been teaching others to understand their full power and importance. Part memoir, part prescription, The Last Year of my Life is a journey of self-discovery and spiritual surrender.

Description

Nothing can prepare you for a fatal diagnosis.

Business leader Eeki Elner faced such news when multiple doctors told him he had stage four lung cancer and a prognosis of only six months to live.

Using the principles and tools of his leadership training experience, he was determined to fight for whatever time he had left. He gratefully found a fifth doctor who would help him win against all odds. Six years later, Elner’s life path overcame what could have been a short-lived dead end. Now, more profoundly, Elner uses his experience to teach others to find and fulfill their full power and capabilities.

Part memoir, part prescription, The Last Year of My Life is a journey of self-discovery and spiritual renewal.

The Ten Leadership Tools presented in this book transcend the motivational strategies that line the shelves of business people. Instead, Elner, with writer Joshua Adams, offers a guidebook that will change how readers approach challenges as they strive to reach their fullest potential.

About the Authors

Eeki Elner is regarded as Israel’s pioneer in leadership training in the business and social world. After a career of twenty years, serving in corporate development, strategy, and marketing planning, then as an advisor to two Israeli cabinet members – Elner founded The Israel Leadership Institute. This system is what Elner shares in workshops and most renowned leadership training conferences and retreats worldwide. Critical to one’s professional progress and personal success is building one’s leadership awareness – that is essential to long-term achievements and satisfaction.” Joshua Adams is a writer and developmental editor lauded by his clients for his intuitive approach to storytelling.
