About the Author
In 1985, Kimberly Johnson earned a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and PR. After publishing and the national distribution of The Start of Something BIG: she was featured in an 8-part series on business planning in Black Enterprise magazine. Also, shared the stage in conferences, workshops and seminars with ExxonMobil, Walt Disney Company, Texaco, Bank of America, and federal government agencies to include U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. SBA just to name a few. In 2010, Ms. Johnson earned an MA in Strategic Communications. Prior accomplishment was the successful completion and certification in the Working Ahead: The National Workforce and Career Development Instructor Training Program, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Labor, the Prudential Foundation, the Fund for New Jersey and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
